Gun UK rock band

Gun, Scottish rockers and celebrated as MTV EMA award winners, were founded by guitarist Giuliano Gizzi. Throughout their illustrious career, they’ve notched three top 20 albums and eight top 40 singles in the UK, including a successful cover of Cameo’s “Word Up” that hit the top 10 and gained popularity across Europe.

Known for their dynamic live performances, Gun has shared the stage with legendary acts like The Rolling Stones during their Steel Wheels and Urban Jungle tours, cementing their status in the rock world.

Hailing from Glasgow, Gun has continued to make music with zeal, even amidst lockdown challenges.

Since their comeback to live performances in 2008, Gun has seen a surge in their fan base, thanks to new music released in their subsequent studio albums. Albums like “Break The Silence,” “Frantic,” and the widely praised “Favourite Pleasures” have garnered numerous four and five-star reviews, including accolades from Planet Rock magazine and the Sunday Mail, which applauded the band for regaining their ‘swagger.’

The band’s current lineup includes original members Dante Gizzi on vocals and Giuliano Gizzi on guitar, joined by Paul McManus on drums, Andy Carr on bass, and Ru Moy on guitar.

Eager to bring their new music to fans, Gun plans to embark on a tour to promote their latest album Hombres – which had an April 2024 release.
