But his latest collaboration with blues guitar virtuoso Joe Bonamassa on the new single “Fortune Teller Blues” is a pairing that few saw coming—and one that works ridiculously well.
Released on February 2, 2024, the track is a blues-rock powerhouse, not a teaser for a full-length Bonamassa-Hagar album (unfortunately).
Still, this one-off collaboration packs enough firepower to satisfy fans of both artists.

Built on a driving blues shuffle, “Fortune Teller Blues” finds Bonamassa laying down thick, swampy riffs while Hagar delivers his signature raspy wail.

Hagar himself seems pretty thrilled with how it turned out, telling Ultimate Classic Rock, “Holy shit, the thing came out good… the track is a monster.”
